Laura Robson wins title

Laura Robson, 14, won the Wimbledon girls' title, which is open to players aged up to 18.

Laura Robson became the first Briton since Annabel Croft 24 years ago to win the Wimbledon girls' title.

Robson beat Thai third seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn 6-3 3-6 6-1 in the final.

New Zealand 37-20 England

In theory it was England's first Test with Martin Johnson in charge, however Rob Andrew took the helm as Johnson stayed with his wife, who is expecting their second child. It was a young side that England put out and they succumbed to New Zealand 37-20.
