Day 11 was another great one for Team GB, who at the close of play had 16 golds in total.

Pride of place went to Chris Hoy, who with his third gold at Beijing, became the first Briton to win three golds in an Olympics for 100 years.

Golds also went to Christine Ohuruogu, Victoria Pendleton and Paul Goodison.
