Lewis Hamilton was first past the post at the Belgian Grand Prix, but after a stewards' inquiry penalised him 25 seconds, he was, in effect, demoted to third place behind Felipe Massa and Nick Heidfeld. As a result, Lewis Hamilton's lead over Felipe Massa in the title chase has been cut to 8 points.
