England 5-1 Kazakhstan Print E-mail
Sunday, 12 October 2008
England beat Kazakhstan at Wembley yesterday thanks to a good second half display.

The team entered half-time at 0-0 with England on top without showing too much quality.

England eventually broke through via a Rio Ferdinand header and added a second before an Ashley Cole mistake led to Kazakhstan getting back into contention at 2-1.

However, England then started to dominate and went 5-1 up.

Walcott, Wright Phillips (sub), and Heskey were first class for England as was David Beckham when he came on in the 79th minute.
