Danny Williams will fight Matt Skelton on 25 January and the authorities will meet this week to decide whether Skelton's British heavyweight title will be on the line. Danny Williams had originally received a six months ban from boxing for his late withdrawal from a bout against Skelton in July 2005. Since then Williams has beaten Audley Harrison and promoter Frank Warren is to apply for sanctions against Williams preventing the British title being put on the line to be dropped. Either way, Williams, will be defending his Commonwealth Crown against Skelton. |
