Thursday, 05 January 2006

Lord Coe KBE was not the only one to be honoured because of London's succesful bid to host the Olympics in 2012 ...

Coe was made a knight commander to add to his peerage.

Chief executive Keith Mills and former British Olympic Association chairman Craig Reedie were knighted.

A further two CBEs, three OBEs and six MBEs were awarded to people connected to the Olympic bid.
