Steven Gerrard, said that he understands why Rafa Benitez might not want him to play for England at Anfield on Wednesday, but he wants to play and he feels fresh. Steve Gerrard said that he didn't mind whether the next England manager is English or not. He acknowledged there is a rivalry between England and Germany but he is not expecting any problems from the fans. Gerrard is looking forward to Germany and he said that missing out on the last World Cup was one of the lowest points in his career. |
