Sven-Goran Eriksson has decided on his side against Uruguay and will announce it after training. Regarding Steven Gerrard, Sven said "I have to listen to club managers, hopefully he can start and do 45 minutes". Sven also implied that Darren Bent will get capped against Uruguay. The England manager expressed his unhappiness at the 15th May deadline for announcing the World Cup squads and said that he will try to change it and is confident that FIFA will put the deadline back. Sven-Goran Eriksson mentioned Brazil, Germany and Argentina as some of the main dangers at the World Cup. |
