Britain's Jenson Button has gained pole position for the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Button's time of one minute 25.229 seconds was 0.406 seconds ahead of Renault's Giancarlo Fisichella. Fernando Alonso achieved his best pole position of the season and lies third whilst Jenson Button's fellow Honda driver Rubens Barrichello could only manage 16th. |
