India beat England by seven wickets in the last one day international to take the series 5-1. England were all out for 288 and India reached the total with just three wickets down. It was a difficult series for England with some important players ruled out through injury whilst others were exhausted in the hot conditions. Nevertheless, on balance the old hands performed better than the most recent recruits, who struggled slightly in the difficult conditions. |
