All three Britons are out of the singles in the first round of the Monte Carlo Masters Series, but the new doubles pairing of Murray and Henman progressed to the second round. Their opponents Tomas Berdych of Czechoslavakia and Jarkko Nieminen of Finland retired hurt early in the match just 3-2 down in the first set. |
