Peter Ebdon lost the snooker World Championship final 18-14 to Graeme Dott. It was not always pretty with both players making errors but it will go down as one of the most compelling finals as both players battled hard as the tension mounted. Dott had a 15-7 lead going into the last session, but Peter Ebdon won six successive frames to make it a real contest. But it was not enough and the Scotsman, Dott, a many times finalist was able to pick up his first major trophy. |
