England's cricketers continue to be dogged by injuries. Fast bowler Simon Jones has an injury to his left knee that will keep him out of the Test and one-day series against Sri Lanka. Previously it had been Jones's ankle that had kept him out of Test cricket since August 2005. England's pace attack for the first Test was already set for a new look with Steve Harmison and James Anderson both out injured. |
