England B's match against Belarus was not about the result, but nevertheless the 2-1 defeat on home soil was disappointing.
Positives for Sven Goran Eriksson will be the top-class performance of Aaron Lennon as well Michael Owen and Ashley Cole suggesting that they are back to full fitness.
The downside was the unfortunate substitute goalkeeper, Robert Green rupturing his groin and a team that failed to gel generally in the second half.
