England kept at bay Print E-mail
Sunday, 28 May 2006
First the weather and then the Sri Lankan batting kept England at bay, with only one late wicket falling to mean that at the end of the second day Sri Lanka were 40 ahead on 194-5.

It remains to be seen whether the Sri Lankan tail will follow their excellent example in the second innings of the first test and frustrate England's bowling attack.
