More medals and records lost as Chambers punished for longer period of drugs Print E-mail
Monday, 26 June 2006
Dwain Chambers has had all his performances since 2002 annulled by the IAAF, after admitting that he took drugs before he was caught in August 2003.

The decision by the athletics' world governing body means that Chambers loses his European 100m gold medal and his British 100 metres record of 9.87.

He is not the only loser, though. Chambers's actions mean that Great Britain colleagues Christian Malcolm, Marlon Devonish and Darren Campbell will lose the European golds they won alongside Chambers in the 4x100m relay in 2002.
