THE WINNERS: Tim Henman as discussed elsewhere won and meets Roger Federer in the second round at Wimbledon Andy Murray beat Nicolas Massu 6-1 6-4 6-4, and said: "That's definitely the best match I've played on grass this year." Richard Bloomfield from Norfolk beat Carlos Berlocq 6-1 6-2 6-2. Jamie Delgado beat Germany's Michael Berrer 6-4 6-2 3-6 3-6 6-3. THE LOSERS: Greg Rusedski crashed out in straight sets to Marat Safin. Rafael Nadal beat Alex Bogdanovic 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 Jamie Baker lost to Italy's Andreas Seppi 6-3 7-6 6-4 6-3
All the British women in action today, Katie O'Brien, Naomi Cavaday and Anne Keothavong, all lost. |
