Gary Neville has been back in training after his calf strain and England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson said:
"He seems to be very good, he did everything and did not feel anything after the training, so I think he will be OK for Saturday ...His experience might be very important to us in a game like this."
Part of that experience was the disastrous 2-2 draw with Portugal in Euro 2000, which meant that England failed to qualify from their group. They were 2-0 up and it was not Gary Neville's best performance. Only he and David Beckham are likely starters from the side that played that day.
