Freddie Trueman OBE dies Print E-mail

Former England and Yorkshire fast bowler Fred Trueman has died from lung cancer. He was 75.

Trueman was the first bowler to claim 300 Test wickets and when asked whether he thought anyone would better his record, replied: "If anyone beats it, they'll be bloody tired".
