Steve Harmison was on fire taking 6-19, and Pakistan were all out for 119. Monty Panesar gave good support and took 3-21. Although Marcus Trescothick went quickly, England finished the day with a strong score of 168-2 with good contributions from Andrew Strauss (42), Alastair Cook (65 not out) and Kevin Pietersen (38 not out). |
