Pakistan reached 504 on the third day of the fourth Test, creating a first innings lead of 331.

Although Marcus Trescothick fell cheaply (having struggled all series), Alastair Cook and Andrew Strauss were able to shore up England's position taking England to 78-1 at the close of play.
