Great Britain were unable to add more golds to their two from Saturday at the World Rowing Championships.

It was close but no cigar in the women's quadruple sculls, where Britain gained silver. Katherine Grainger described it as "probably the most painful experience of my career" and Sarah Winckless said: "we're incredibly disappointed. We came here to win for our home crowd."
