Peter Crouch scored the crucial goal right at the start of the second half and England were lucky when Ashley Cole stopped the ball on the line with his standing peg thus avoiding a 1-1 scoreline. Crouch has now scored an amazing 11 goals from his last 10 games - albeit not against the best opposition. John Terry was man of the match, although SuperEngland believe that Rio Ferdinand just pipped him for the accolade. |
