Junior "The Hitter" Witter took the WBC light-welterweight belt with a unanimous points win over DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley.

The judges scored the fight: 118-112, 117-111 and 116-114.

After his victory, Witter exclaimed: "Now I am world champion, and I am on top of the world."

Before the fight, Junior Witter had said: "I have been training for this fight for 10 weeks properly and before that I was never out of the gym. My motivation is back. Every angle has been covered and I am in the shape of my career. I just want the fight to happen now. I haven't been up for a fight like this since I fought Lovemore N'Dou last year."
