At the end of the first day Justin Rose led the field by four shots with a course record 12-under-par 60 at the Walt Disney Classic in Florida.
However Justin Rose was just inches away from a more important record: a single round 59. He missed a 14-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole, which would have levelled his score with the all-time PGA Tour record of Al Geiberger (1977), Chip Beck (1991) and David Duval (1999).
