McClaren names squad against Holland Print E-mail
Saturday, 11 November 2006
Steve McClaren has named a 28-man squad for Wednesday's friendly with Holland. The most notable selection is Manchester City's defender Micah Richards.

Although it is a young squad with all the players under 30, only three of the players are uncapped: Richards, Michael Dawson and Ben Foster.

Dawson returns to the squad as do Joe Cole and Aaron Lennon, who were unavailable through injury last time.

SuperEngland's pundit McGrew comments: "This would have been the ideal match to have given Theo Walcott a run out in the senior squad. It's interesting to see so many Spurs and Chelsea players (let's hope that John Terry and Ledley King have got over their differences). As it is, without Theo Walcott and Justin Hoyte, Arsenal are not represented.
