Georgina Harland, Britain's bronze medallist from the Athens Olympic Games, finished seventh in the Modern Pentathlon World Championships.
Harland's running and riding were excellent, but she declared herself disappointed with her shooting and fencing.
Harland's team mates, Mhairi Spence and Katy Livingstone finished 12th and 18th respectively, which was good enough for the trio to collect a highly creditable silver medal. Poland took gold.
