James Anderson, Ian Bell, Jon Lewis, Paul Nixon, Liam Plunkett as well as Andrew Flintoff were fined. There were reports Flintoff, having been drinking heavily, had fallen off a pedalo in the early hours of Saturday after England had lost their first World Cup match.
