Sport England gave darts sports status last year, and a list of some of the items listed as sports by the Olympics must give darts a chance. The Olympics site lists Air sports, Billiard Sports, Bridge, Chess, Korfball, Tug of War, and Life saving. Martin Adams, the England team captain, was once given a pedometer and was estimated to have notched up 25kms while playing a tournament. Surely more than the average chess player? |
