Lawrence Dallaglio has told The Guardian that he was dissatisfied with the previous England international coaching regime and that led to his "premature" decision to retire from international rugby.
Dallaglio told The Guardian: "I really questioned the motivation of some of those involved with England, both on the playing and coaching side. So that forced my hand." Dallaglio also expressed his determination to get selected for England again even if he misses out on the Six Nations this time round: "I know people will conclude that's the end for me, but I won't see it that way. I know people's decisions, and personnel, can change very quickly. I've just signed to play two more years for Wasps, and that means I'm available for England the same length of time." |
