England 6 - 15 South Africa Print E-mail
Saturday, 20 October 2007
England put in a good performance in the final of the rugby World Cup but it did not save them from being defeated 6 - 15 by South Africa.

It was always a close match and a couple of early slips saw England gift South Africa their first six points.

Things might have been different too if Mark Cueto had been allowed a try that the video referee deemed should not be allowed as a part of his body had gone into touch - a view that was at variance with most objective observers.

Nevertheless after a deep national breath, England can reflect on a performance to be proud of.
