Lewis Hamilton survived a collision in an action-packed Monaco Grand Prix to win the race and take the world championship lead.
It could have been so different as Hamilton lost control in the rain on lap six and hit a barrier. The resulting puncture ironically did him a favour, as McLaren filled his car up with fuel at the pit stop, enabling him to build up a decisive lead before entering the pits again.
