Katy Livingston's father is one of the few people to have beaten Sebastian Coe over 800m.

Katy has a degree in Coach Education and Sports Development from the University of Bath.

In 2007 Katy Livingston finished sixth in the Pentathlon at the European Championships.

When she was selected for the 2008 Olympic Games GB squad, Katy Livingston said:

"I proved by medalling at the World Championships recently and winning a World Cup competition earlier this year that I can get on the podium in big competitions and I definitely think I can be on the podium in Beijing."

In the end, Katy Livingston finished seventh in the Beijing Olympics.
