Pentathlete Heather Fell was born on 3 March 1983 in Plymouth.

Heather Fell has a physiotherapy degree from Brunel University.

In Athens in 2003, Heather Fell won individual gold and team gold in the World Junior Championships.

In 2007 Heather Fell won individual silver and team relay gold in the European Championships. In the same year she also won her first medal on the World Cup circuit with a bronze in Moscow.

In 2008 Heather Fell won individual gold in Millfield on the World Cup circuit and in the World Championships in May 2008, she came fourth in the individual event, whilst picking up the team silver.

In the Beijing Olympics in 2008, Heather Fell won silver in the modern pentathlon.
